Group Business Controller

Royal Unibrew

Do you want your work to directly shape how one of Europe's most dynamic beverage companies understands and manages its supply chain costs?

Royal Unibrew is looking for a Group Business Controller, with focus on Supply Chain Controlling, to join its Group Controlling function in Faxe

You will report to Senior Business Controller Emily Curtis and become part of a small, high-performing team known for its collaborative spirit and strong internal reputation. The role combines deep technical expertise with genuine business partnering – and in this organization, good ideas are listened to and acted upon.

Your responsibilities

This is a broad, business-critical role that spans both technical controlling and cross-country business partnering. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supply chain controlling – Drive ongoing controlling activities focused on production performance, cost development and operational efficiency across the group's production sites.
  • Standard cost budgeting – Lead and coordinate the Group's standard cost budgeting process across all markets, ensuring consistency, transparency and relevance for local and group stakeholders.
  • Standard cost & variance analysis – Analyze standard cost variances and production cost development versus budget and prior year, and actively challenge cost structures.
  • Quarterly revaluation – Support and coordinate the revaluation process across several markets, ensuring quality and consistency in cost calculations.
  • KPI dashboard development – Develop and enhance the Group Supply Chain KPI dashboard, supporting Board and senior stakeholder presentations.
  • Cross-country collaboration – Act as a trusted expert and sparring partner for Supply Chain Controllers across markets, helping them apply group methodologies and build capability.
  • SAP S/4HANA migration – Play a key role in the upcoming SAP HANA go-live, contributing to supporting teams where necessary.
  • Ad hoc analysis & decision support – Contribute to strategic projects, acquisitions and other group-level initiatives where financial insight into Supply Chain is required.
  • Is analytically sharp and detail-oriented but can also lift their gaze and see the bigger picture.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, including C-suite level.
  • Is curious, proactive and genuinely motivated by understanding cost drivers in depth.
  • Works independently, takes ownership and contributes to a positive, high-energy team environment.
  • Has the ambition and maybe even potential to grow into a broader role over time.

Who are you?

We imagine you have a solid academic background in finance and at least five years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain or production controlling, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. You do not just understand the financial side – you genuinely understand how supply chains work, where costs come from and what drives key production KPIs such as OEE and production losses.

Your technical foundation is strong: you are comfortable with standard cost build-up, overhead allocations and complex cost models. You are highly proficient in SAP, and experience with SAP BW/4HANA and Power BI is a significant advantage. You work confidently with large datasets and advanced Excel.

But technical skills are only part of the picture. You are able to zoom out, translate complex data into clear narratives and make people understand not just what the numbers say – but why it matters. You question, you propose, and you bring ideas to the table.

On a personal level, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is analytically sharp and detail-oriented but can also lift their gaze and see the bigger picture.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, including C-suite level.
  • Is curious, proactive and genuinely motivated by understanding cost drivers in depth.
  • Works independently, takes ownership and contributes to a positive, high-energy team environment.
  • Has the ambition and maybe even potential to grow into a broader role over time.

English proficiency is required. Danish is not a must.
